Good construction for what it is supposed to do. It keeps the pad stretched properly and in a stable position. Now that the dog is trained, I use it as a mat at the balcony door that leads outside for the dog to go to the toilet, so it doesn't bring dirt and mess inside, and it does this job excellently as well.
