The AXAGON PCEM2-S internal adapter allows the connection of an M.2 SSD to a desktop computer via the PCI-Express bus. It supports single-sided and double-sided NVMe (PCI-Express) M.2 SSDs, with M.2 cards up to 22x80 mm. The 4-lane PCI-Express 3.0 interface offers speeds up to 8 GBps, while NVMe SSDs have faster transfer speeds than SATA SSDs.

M.2 SSDs are cooled with an aluminum cover that acts as a heatsink. The LED indicator indicates connection or data transmission. The adapter features:
