The Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1 module is a video intercom camera module with a 2.1 Mpx CMOS sensor and a resolution of 1920 × 1080 (1080p). It offers a 146° viewing angle, and infrared illumination supports image capture in low-light conditions. It features a metal housing with an IP65 protection rating, a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way communication, as well as tamper detection and echo cancellation.

The module is flush-mounted and connects via wired 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet. The system can be expanded with up to 8 submodules. It is powered via PoE (802.3af) or 12 V DC.
