This book encourages us to light a "lamp of divine light." With this lamp, we will see and read thirty-three essays on the topics of spiritual life.
We will hear a voice calling us: "Adam, where are you?" and then we will look around and see the sky, the earth, the sea, all praising the Creator of the universe.
In the following pages, we will listen to the Prophets, and contemplation will come, the gaze upon God. However, we will feel our weaknesses, our pain, our sins, death, and then we will think of redemption, divine mercy, resurrection, and eternity.
We will certainly need quietness and to acquire joy. And surely in the Church of Christ, which has sanctifying power and is unwavering with extraordinary pastoral ministry, there we will find love and the remedy for immortality.
Thus, we will understand the difference between divine and human law and the place of scientific achievements. We can then realize our theosis and our soul will be filled with the Holy Spirit.
