The new AC standard has arrived, with data transfer speeds of up to 866Mbit, 256-QAM modulation, and 80MHz channels. The 802.11a/n/ac opens up new possibilities and speeds never before seen. The SXT ac is a new member of the 802.11ac product line, with two available models - one with a standard 28-degree antenna and the SA model with a 90-degree sector antenna. It also supports the 802.11a/n standard, Nstreme and Nv2 protocols, and is compatible with all previous generation RouterBOARD devices. Both devices feature Gigabit Ethernet. The new products are backward compatible - for example, you can replace your 5GHz 802.11a/n Access Point with the new 802.11ac product, and existing clients will be able to connect to it.
