The 1800VA from Lancom is a router with a built-in modem. The router is a device to which other devices, such as a computer, mobile phone, or television, connect either wirelessly or via cable, and it shares internet access. It receives internet access through the built-in modem. It connects to the 5G network, which offers significantly higher speeds than 4G, provided there is mobile network coverage in the area we are located.
It supports VDSL2, the most modern internet connection technology, offering higher download and upload speeds compared to ADSL2+. It is capable of supporting triple play services (television, telephony, internet), provided there is corresponding connection technology from the provider.
The device has VPN (Virtual Private Network) configuration capability, allowing traffic from all devices on the network to pass through it. The VPN acts as an intermediary between the user and the rest of the internet, providing anonymity and access to geographically restricted content.
With MAC address filtering, it allows specific devices to connect based on their unique MAC address, blocking any device with a MAC address that has not been designated as acceptable.
