- The pre‑filter captures large dust particles, lint, or pet hair.
- The TRUE HEPA filter captures microparticles of dust, mites, pollen, mold spores, bacteria, and viruses.
- The TRUE HEPA filter retains particles over 0.3 micron with over 99.97% efficiency. But what does this mean? First of all, HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air—thus, TRUE HEPA filters are the most efficient filters available on the market.
- The Activated Carbon filter eliminates unpleasant odors (tobacco smoke, food smells, etc.) as well as toxic gases.
- UV‑C technology effectively destroys bacteria, viruses, fungi, and molds at a rate of 99.99%.
- The ionization function emits negative ions that adhere to dust and airborne pollutants, making them heavier and easier for the purifier to collect. A high concentration of negative ions freshens the air and helps your brain function better.
Air Quality Indicator
The LED indicator allows you to see the air quality in your home in real time, based on PM2.5 particle levels:
- < 49 µg/m³: Green – The air quality is good
- 50–99 µg/m³: Yellow – The air quality is moderate
- 100–149 µg/m³: Orange – The air quality is poor
- > 150 µg/m³: Red – The air quality is very poor
Special Functions
- Wi‑Fi: The smartphone app lets you control the device remotely via Wi‑Fi.
- Timer: P40 can be scheduled to run for 2 h, 4 h, or 8 h, switching off automatically once the selected time has elapsed.
- Time indicator light shows the selected run time.
- Fan speed: The purifier has 4 speed levels. The Speed button allows you to set fan speed to I, II, III, or Turbo.
- Ionizer / UV‑C lamp function: This button turns the UV lamp on/off and enables/disables ionization.
- Ion benefits: Negative ions boost energy, metabolism, improve circulation and immunity, reduce allergies and headaches.
- UV‑C lamp (254 nm) effectively eliminates airborne viruses and bacteria.
- Sleep function: Turns off the display after about 5 seconds, with fan operating at speed I.
