I chose this kids' smartwatch mainly for safety reasons and because I didn’t want my child to have access to apps, social media, or unrestricted internet. It offers only basic communication and location functions, which was a key criterion for me.

There is the option for the child to receive calls only from stored contacts, while messages can only be sent by those who have the app (text and voice). The child can send only voice messages from the watch.

It also has an SOS button, so in case of emergency the child can immediately call the parents or predefined contacts.

Location tracking via GPS, WiFi, and LBS is useful, although not always absolutely accurate, especially indoors. The app on the phone is functional and allows basic settings to be managed by the parent.

The battery lasts about a day with normal use. Overall, I think it is a good choice for parents who want to avoid giving their child a phone, replacing communication with a watch, without distractions from the internet and apps, with an emphasis on safety and communication control.

    Verified purchase

Purchase for an elderly person with dementia, so we know where they are and can communicate with them wherever they are without needing to remember the phone or how to answer a call.

It is extremely useful. It has an SOS button, an option to automatically answer calls from specific numbers, the ability to take photos and display them on the phone, an option to have the watch call you, and the location signal it gives in the tests I did (in the city) is quite good. The battery from 95% yesterday is at 55% today with location sent every 10 minutes; there is also the option to send every hour to save power.

Only the menu in Greek is a bit strange, not something terrible but maybe during the installation of the app (maxcom tracker) it is better to choose English. Other than that, as long as it doesn't show any faults, it is truly a lifesaver for people with such problems.
