The sand sticks a little, but it comes off with shaking. Overall, a very convenient mat, it fits 2 people, it is lightweight and easy to use.
It is not suitable for sandy beaches. A large amount of sand sticks to it, and no matter how much you shake it, you end up taking the sand with you, making it environmentally unfriendly (you remove the sand from the beach). Perhaps on pebble beaches or grassy ground it would work better.
Very good and of high quality. I didn't have any issues with sand as some mention. Maybe with extremely fine sand there could be a small issue, as with all objects that come into contact with it. The hole in the middle and the pegs provided in the package are useful, although they are not often used because the pockets fill up and hold just as well in the wind.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work for sand. Very thin. Even if it gets wet, even a little, the sand never goes away, even if it dries
The sand sticks to it and it takes a while to clean it
