Monster Hunter Stories Collection for PS4 combines role-playing gameplay and turn-based battles in the world of Monster Hunter. It includes Monster Hunter Stories on disc and a digital code for Monster Hunter Stories 2. Players raise and train monsters, called Monsties, and form bonds with them instead of hunting them.
In battle, Monster Hunter weapons target opponents' weaknesses, while Bond attacks with Monsties can influence the outcome of an encounter. The story of Wings of Ruin begins with the mass disappearance of the Rathalos and follows the adventure of a Rider who teams up with monsters and companions. The game also features optional quests, weapon and armor crafting, and battles and exploration with friends.
