The MC220L is a media converter designed to convert 1000BASE-LX/LH fiber to 1000Base-T copper or vice versa. Designed based on IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-LX/LH standards, the MC220L is intended for use with single-mode optical fiber cable using the SC-Type connector. It operates at 1310nm for both data transmission and reception. Other features of this unit include the ability to be used as a stand-alone device (no chassis required) or with a 19-inch TP-Link rack. The MC220L transmits over extended single-mode fiber distances of up to 10 kilometers.
