This variety produced in Kerala has a more intense flavor than that from Guatemala.

The unique flavor of cardamom is described as very aromatic with a resinous scent and a hint of mint flavor. It is used in savory and sweet dishes and can be used to prepare a spicy tea, which is naturally caffeine-free and can be consumed at any time of the day.
