The EPS is equipped with the patented A-Head height and angle adjustment system, developed by Alpinestars and first used successfully in the Motocross S-M10 helmet, to allow precise adjustment of the product to the rider's preferences regarding the height and angle at which the helmet sits on the head.
The overall shape of the helmet has been developed for aerodynamic performance and stability. The racing spoiler (optional) and fins further reduce drag by 4.54%. An aerodynamic spoiler with a patented release system, also used on the visor of the Alpinestars S-M10 motocross helmet, with elastic joints that help the spoiler detach from the helmet shell if it suffers a significant impact, regardless of the angle. The SR10 helmet is equipped with vortex generators on the visor to improve aeroacoustic performance.

The visor mechanism, with metal locking levers to prevent unwanted detachment during collisions, which are secured in the closed position by a front metal hook. The tool-free quick-release system allows for quick and easy changes.
