Vechro Smaltoxyl Hydro water-based wood preservative penetrates the wood’s pores and is suitable for interior and exterior surfaces. It protects against wood-decaying fungi, blue stain fungi, mould and mildew, as well as wood-boring insects. It moves naturally with the wood, retains its elasticity and allows the surface to breathe.
It has a low odour and can be recoated with water- or solvent-based Smaltoxyl varnishes. Apply with a brush or roller. It is touch-dry in 1–2 hours and can be recoated after 4–6 hours.
