After almost 9 months of use, I can say that it is one of the best choices for everyday city use. Before this, I had tried the Wenger Carbon 17 and before that the Everki Glide. The Glide would be perfect if it had side pockets - see previous review. While the Wenger was fine, it constantly annoyed me with small things like the fact that the mesh in its large compartment always gets caught on everything. And now we are here.

Space: Impeccable, maybe even too much. Quality: Amazing. Everything that applies to the Glide also applies here, plus the two perfect side pockets - they also have mesh inside. Ignore the elastic strap for holding water, it has better uses.

The laptop compartment is adjustable and soft - very good protection. The zippers are fantastic. Convenient on the back even with a load. I should also note that the horizontal chest strap is easily removable, more annoying than useful.

Negatives: Relatively few, but you can't overlook them on a daily basis. For some reason, the shoulder straps gradually loosen, despite having a metal clasp to prevent this. This happens when you leave it on the floor, the strap slips slightly from its plastic buckle and loosens a bit. After 3-4 uses, you have to tighten it again.

The front pocket, which I use to store a crossbody bag so I don't wear them at the same time, pulls the bag outwards. This causes the pocket without a zipper, which is right behind it, to sag. This was not a problem with the Glide, which had an elastic entrance in that pocket. It's ugly and annoying, but it's not the end of the world.

It doesn't have a specific pocket for the mobile phone. Obviously, there are many good places to put it, but I don't want it banging against everything else inside. I use the card pockets and they work fine for me, but it renders the hook for the keys right above useless.
Lastly, I don't like that the laptop compartment opens fully downwards, supposedly for airport use. I preferred the Wenger system, halfway open. There might be small items circulating that you have to calculate how long it takes to open and gather them.

Finally, it is bulky, almost as much as the Wenger Carbon, but again, supposedly you need this volume. It's just disproportionately large for daily use - maybe it will seem excessive for many users.

If you can overlook the €150 price tag and the relatively large size, buy it blindly. Months later, it shows no signs of wear and finding what you want is a matter of seconds.

Bonus: Every time you touch it, you appreciate the quality of construction. 5/5
