The ETIMAT10 3P B 40A 10kA AC automatic circuit breaker is a protection automation device that limits the effects of short circuits and overloads in the electrical installation. The interruption of the electrical circuit occurs when a current much higher than the nominal current flows, offering protection to people and devices from electric shock and fire.
It is mainly used in residential building electrical installations for the protection of lighting, socket, and control circuits. Its design allows for the installation of additional equipment, such as auxiliary contacts for remote monitoring of operation.
It can be equipped with shunt releases that open the contacts when voltage appears or with undervoltage releases that activate the circuit breaker in case of voltage drop.
