The friend above has explained everything in great detail. This is a gem with the guarantee of sturdiness and top sound from Beyer. I bought them for studio use in electronic music production, but the sound is so outstanding that I can't wait to try them out during live recordings as well. In many reviews, you will read that the bass is excessive; personally, I didn't notice anything like that (without even using EQ).

For everyday use and music production/recording, I was a 5-year user of Audio Technica M50x (standard studio headphones, there is no studio that doesn't have a pair, priced around 150 euros) and I decided to make a small upgrade since I wore them out, to headphones in the price range of 200-250 euros. For the 200 I paid for these, amazing. A huge upgrade from M50x. First, they made me understand what soundstage means because with the previous ones (I'm not joking) I only had it as an idea. The stereo of the 770 pro x is several classes superior in comparison and very good overall. Second, they have sub bass. Someone might say yes, and my headphones have sub bass too. I thought so too. No, my friend. These have sub bass. You hear and feel the bass in a way that is much more comparable to having good loudspeakers than any non-Beyerd headphone I have tried. The high frequencies are clear, although for my taste I raised them a bit more with a (free) EQ app, and generally, the different frequencies, the different instruments, sound much more distinct from each other than other headphones I had. It's a bit hard to describe without trying them. For professional use, but also for leisure, I recommend them without reservation and I urge you to get these for 50 euros more than the dt 770 pro (without the "x") for one reason. THESE HAVE A DETACHABLE CABLE. If you use a pair of headphones for 3-5 years, my experience is that the cable will break, and the detachable cable of the m50x extended their use for 2 years for me, and for the Beyerds, which also have a more robust construction as a main body, I predict that I will be able to use them for a decade+. Generally, you spend 150 euros for dt 770 pro and throw them away after 4 years, or you spend 200 for these, get slightly upgraded sound quality, and double (+++) the lifespan.

TL;DR: Much better than Audio Technica M50x, and due to the detachable cable, much better than DT 770 pro (without the x). Beautiful sound, incredible stereo experience and soundstage, incomparable in bass with anything else I have held in my hands. I recommend them for professionals and non-professionals alike!
