An olive tree, 212 years old, was the most experienced and the wisest among the thousands of trees that grew in the area. It was rooted in the most beautiful part of Chalkidiki!

When it was still a small and fragile sapling, it longed to travel around the world... But its roots stubbornly held it in the ground. And while it had stood in the same place for centuries, it knew a lot, as if it had traveled the whole world! It spoke of distant lands, of people and places that no one else had heard of.

The battles, the persecutions, the holocaust, the sacrifice of heroes, all real events, are presented with a literary touch.
