With the first celebratory issue of the magazine «Analecta Stagorum et Meteororum», the Academy of Theological and Historical Studies of Saints Meteora aims to open new pathways in Meteora studies, guided by interdisciplinarity and thematic richness.

The selection of articles covers aspects of history, archaeology, art, and intellectual history from both the Middle Ages and the Early Modern period: from the Serbia rule in Thessaly to the various functions of Meteora monasteries during the Ottoman era, and from the material culture of the Trikala region to the emergence of the so-called «Cretan School» in Meteora and the dispersion of Russian artifacts within the broader cultural context.

Among the contributors are Brendan Osswald, Maja Nikolic, Dimitrios Agoritsas, and Yuliana Boycheva. The articles in English are accompanied by extensive summaries in Greek.
