The description is wrong: the device is used to program digital pressure gauges (TPMS), only for cars that have this capability. The procedure is simple: activate the sensor learning procedure in the car (look online to see how), bring the device close to the valve and press the button; do this in sequence for all 4 tires.
On a Ford Fiesta, where I used it after replacing the pressure sensors, it worked perfectly. Very low cost, and it saves you the dealers’ charges for 2 minutes’ work. There are also sensor programming devices that cost much more, but for the learning procedure, this one is sufficient.
