Very good content, terrible translation (seems to be from google translate). Get it in English instead.

The book is very good for someone who is starting out and also has useful tips for more advanced players. If you know English, buy it in English. The translation has spelling mistakes, slight translation errors and, most importantly, sometimes uses Greek letters for the squares, sometimes English. For example, one time it is θ5, and in the same sentence, it is also called h5 without explaining why it switches from one language to the other. The chessboards in the pictures have English letters for the squares.

  • the simplest and most pleasant guide I have read for chess. I would suggest, however, that it uses only the English names and terms such as notation, since it refers you to English platforms and sites.

It has the basic information on how to play chess and many tactics with very nice shapes. I recommend it for kids (over 10 years old) and adults

Very good job from the translator! User-friendly and easy to read. We hadn't seen a newer chess publication specifically for beginners in Greek literature for a long time. I highly recommend it. Enjoy reading... and good games!
