After about 20 years with my old Seiko kinetic, I decided to try something new and got this one. My impressions now: The positives first: Its accuracy is typical of Seiko, losing about 2 seconds a month, its weight is ideal for me, neither too heavy nor too light, the dial is large and easy to read, and finally, the sapphire crystal gives a sense of security and a feeling of a more expensive watch. The negatives: the duration of the energy accumulator after a full charge. Seiko says it's 1 month, I say 15-20 days at most, at least with what the energy meter shows, on the left side of the dial, unless what it shows is not accurate. With the rate at which the energy drops when the watch is not worn, it definitely does not last a month. Lastly, the black of the dial has a matte texture, like a fine weave, which I find somewhat off-putting. I preferred it all shiny. I got it for 550. If you find it cheaper and you like it, go for it. A fair choice.
