The General Part of Greek Tort Law is examined in this work, with the aim of presenting a system that will – as far as possible – meet the needs of the theoretical researcher, the practical interpreter/implementer, and the student.

It is up to the reader to determine – at least with the benevolence that characterizes them – whether this goal has been achieved. The references to bibliography and case law have been selected to be sufficient for the reader's complete information, while not burdening the scope of the work.

This selection does not imply that works or decisions not included in the references have not been taken into account, nor that they are evaluated negatively. The extensive alphabetical index makes the work more user-friendly. The bibliographic table only lists the main general works.
