    I would say it's okay to start with, but it requires a lot of editing to make it sound nice. Personally, I didn't have a problem with the hiss near electrical devices that other users mention, but the sound is not the best, especially considering that a cheaper microphone can sound better and fuller. I would recommend getting something from Deity for the same price instead of this specific microphone, so you don't need to upgrade right away.

    It is really useless near devices that emit radio waves. It has no shielding at all and constantly receives interference and interruptions. Also, DO NOT even think about connecting it to a wireless audio transmitter.... PLAIN DESTRUCTION. These problems are well-known, they extensively talk about them on YouTube in reviews.

    I bought it just because it was Rode, but unfortunately I was not satisfied. From the very beginning, there was a noise, so we had to fix the sound a little during editing. I do not recommend getting it. There are better microphones, but this one is a shame for Rode :(

    Apart from the hissing sound it constantly produces when you listen to what you recorded, it is generally a good microphone but for its price, I don't think it's worth it!! (obviously, the differences between the built-in microphone and the Rode VideoMic Go are incredibly large and noticeable!). Unfortunately, in order to have a completely clean sound without needing much editing in post-production, you will have to spend 200euro+ but still, I believe it's not worth the money!

    For Rode, I expected something much better. It is decent, but not for Rode. The construction is good, it has a silicone base for vibrations. The foam on top doesn't do well with wind (it will need a furry cover). What bothered me the most is the noise it has. It is quite noticeable.

    Big problem with interference from other devices, especially in areas where Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are open.

    It surprises me that the Rode Micro, although cheaper, proved to have a cleaner sound with much less noise.

    In general, though, it is a very good microphone, but unfortunately, this noise is enough to tell someone to stay away from it.

    Personally, this microphone became useless to me and I gave it away for the Rode micro.

    There are also samples of the problem I mentioned in many videos on YouTube by various YouTubers, and it seems strange that none of the others who wrote reviews mention it.

    I have had it for 3 years now, for my YouTube videos.
    I bought it just because it was Rode, but unfortunately I was not satisfied. From the very beginning, there was a noise, so we had to fix the sound a little during editing. I do not recommend getting it. There are better microphones, but this one is a shame for Rode :(

    Apart from the hissing sound it constantly produces when you listen to what you recorded, it is generally a good microphone but for its price, I don't think it's worth it!! (obviously, the differences between the built-in microphone and the Rode VideoMic Go are incredibly large and noticeable!). Unfortunately, in order to have a completely clean sound without needing much editing in post-production, you will have to spend 200euro+ but still, I believe it's not worth the money!

    For Rode, I expected something much better. It is decent, but not for Rode. The construction is good, it has a silicone base for vibrations. The foam on top doesn't do well with wind (it will need a furry cover). What bothered me the most is the noise it has. It is quite noticeable.
