The increase in migration rates from Earth requires the terraforming of Mars, which means adapting its environment so that humans can survive without protective equipment and minimize the mortality caused by accidents among the colonists. Therefore, the Earth Government has decided to support any organization that contributes to this significant project. The generous funding attracts giant corporations that wish to increase their market share and become the most influential entities implementing the terraforming project. For many, the subjugation of the Red Planet is an opportunity for spectacular success. In "Terraforming Mars," the player takes control of one of the corporations and will buy and play cards that describe various investment plans. Usually, the plans will contribute directly or indirectly to the terraforming process, but they may also be business initiatives of another kind. To win, the player must achieve a high terraforming rate and accumulate the most victory points.
Reaching Mars was a significant step for humanity. Adapting it to life will create a new home for it.
