Review this product
  • So, I bought this specific feeder with the stainless steel bowl (be careful because some suppliers have the bowl made of melamine plastic). At first, everything worked well and I thought I was saved. It can be adjusted remotely via Wi-Fi and everything seemed fine.
    1) Very soon, however, I started having issues with the network. I can't say for sure if it's the device or the network's fault, but at regular intervals the feeder "loses" the network and cannot reconnect wirelessly unless you unplug it and plug it back in. When this happens, you have NO remote control at all, so if you've left it to feed your pet while you're away, you're out of luck.
    2) Sometimes (depending on the size of the kibble) the kibble gets stuck in the gear, and even though it shows that it has fed, no kibble comes out. It doesn't notify you that the food is stuck and hasn't fed, even though it says it has an indicator if food gets stuck. Another reason a meal can be missed and your cat can be left hungry.
    3) Customer service is, of course, non-existent. From the store where I bought it, which I won't name because it's pointless, no one protects the consumer anyway, they never accepted that the device has a fault regarding Wi-Fi connectivity, so I was left with a device that, at the end of the day, DOES NOT do the job it was bought for.
Stay away from this brand and in general, prefer to pay a bit more to get something reliable and from a reputable store so you can return it in case of a fault.
