The Akasa Plato WS is a sleek and compact UCFF case compatible with the VESA standard for Intel NUC motherboards, designed for passive cooling and silent operation thanks to its optimized construction with large heatsinks. The case features an elegant aluminum design with a brushed finish in black and a diamond front panel.
Specifically designed for UCFF motherboards, it occupies minimal space and has a height of just 39 mm, making it extremely flat. In addition to its compact construction, it impresses with its very elegant appearance, making it ideal for home entertainment (HTPC).
On the front, for convenience, there are two USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports, as well as the power button and two LEDs. On the back, the ports are perfectly positioned to support the Intel NUC motherboard.
The case features large aluminum heatsinks on all sides, allowing heat from the processor to be evenly transferred to the case, which acts as an extensive passive heatsink. The heat is directly dissipated into the environment through the large heatsink construction.
The package includes thermal pads for ideal heat transfer, as well as a series cable, case feet, and installation materials for VESA. The external power supply is not included and must be purchased separately.
