The motion sensor detects sources of infrared radiation. It analyzes parameters such as the size of the object, the amount of heat emitted, and the rate of movement between different detection zones. Movement in the detection zone triggers automatic activation of the lighting. From the moment of connection, continuous movement causes permanent activation of the lighting. Only the absence of movement in the detection zone activates the lighting duration.
The motion sensor is equipped with a night mechanism that prevents the activation of controlled lighting during the day. The detection status and readiness to activate the lighting are only triggered after dusk. The sensor activation time can be adjusted by the user with a potentiometer. It is also possible to adjust the detection area to a range of 5 to 12 meters and set the receiver connection time from 10 seconds to 7 minutes.
Temperature changes may affect motion detection. The motion sensor is used for automatic, temporary activation of lighting when a person or other object appears in areas such as corridors, yards, approaches and entrances, garages, etc.
