When we talk about tablets at such a price, I consider it a sin not to protect it as much as you can, even if it is resistant to falls and waterproof. With this mindset, I bought this case on 15/02/2024. After 3 months of use now (15/05/2024), I can say that I am absolutely satisfied. The case is beautiful, durable, functional, and you can easily put it on and take it off without much hassle. The case for the stylus is particularly relieving, as I no longer have the fear of "what if I accidentally pushed it while putting it in my bag and it detached from its magnet." I particularly like the base of the case when you fold it, allowing you to see or write things without constantly bending your head and developing neck strain, or straining your eyes when lying down and watching a series, surfing, or doing anything else. Additionally, as a student, I carry it everywhere, and really the before and after in my notes/studies cannot be described, and I think my whole back and eyes thank me for this purchase. However, the case is particularly bulky, and will significantly increase the weight of an already heavy tablet. Personally, this did not bother me at all in this area, as I feel like I "hold it better" and that it is generally more protected due to the new weight and the anti-slip surface of the base, making it significantly more difficult for the tablet to fall, even if accidentally hit (especially me, being clumsy). As other reviews also mention, the difference is noticeable, to the point where it is quite cumbersome and may bother someone who wants it for frequent movements. The absolutely positive thing is that you can also have the protective membrane available in stores for extra protection. I have not experienced a tablet drop yet (and I hope I never do), but the only sure thing is that you do not feel it "naked" and exposed, whether in falls, sharp objects (let's say keys), or other objects you may have in your bag that could damage it. In terms of build quality, I believe that, God forbid, if the tablet takes a hit, the case will protect it adequately, without being damaged itself. The only negative that really bothered me is the price. We are talking about one of the most expensive covers, which in the end is... just a cover. Good indeed, but overpriced. Especially when compared to its "cousins" that come with a keyboard, well, this one should be significantly cheaper in comparison (which it is, but not because the price is reasonable for this product, but because the others are outrageously expensive). If you have no intention of getting a keyboard, and your budget allows it, then it is definitely a good choice that you won't regret, but the price remains steep, no matter how good the case is. Therefore, we expect a significant price drop, and then we grab it, otherwise, in my opinion, such a price does not suit it. Nevertheless, solely because of its price, on a more lenient scale, I would give it 4.5 stars, but so far it does its job and has left me satisfied. A more extensive use will show over time if it deserves the 5 stars I gave it now, or if its actual quality corresponds to something less. Of course, precisely because of its price, the functionality of the product as well as its lifespan will be judged more strictly. So, an update of the review next year.
