Smart Subsonic.
Standard subsonic filters are not smart and are often rejected by audiophiles. They filter not only the noise from warped records but also the bass of the track. The smart subsonic filter knows the difference between the two and filters only the distortion, leaving the track completely intact.
Your Cartridge. Your Rules.
The ZEN Phono 3 supports four MM/MC gain options from 36 to 72dB and four input settings. You can mix and match gain and loading settings independently, ensuring optimal compatibility with a wide range of cartridges.
Accurate Equalization.
In the mixing process, records are pressed with an inverse RIAA equalization curve. This must be restored during playback by the phono stage to reveal the magic of the music. The RIAA equalization of the ZEN Phono 3 uses multiple TDK C0G capacitors in parallel arrangement for better stability and less distortion.
Astonishingly Silent.
The ZEN Phono 3 has a high-tech clean power supply, isolated on an “island” and away from the rest of the board, ensuring that only the sound is amplified and the noise remains whisper quiet.
