    The vet recommended it to me for my elderly cat who has serious health problems. As an alternative, he suggested Purina's Propranolol. In the end, I stuck with Hills because Purina seemed to cause her diarrhea. I mix it with a little warm water and put it in a syringe. It becomes like a mousse. My cat loves small and frequent meals. She doesn't like eating it alone because she loves the small pieces, not the pate or mousse-like texture. She eats dry kibble on her own. Overall, she prefers refined food. Of course, it's not cheap, but it's worth it for our little friends. So, I deduct one star for the high cost.
