I received it as a gift for 80 euros if I remember correctly two years ago. I wear it less than all the watches in my collection, as I prefer analog steel watches. Nevertheless, let me share my opinion. The strap is not comfortable. The watch with the negative display and the colors of the case is cool in appearance, but the screen is very difficult to read the time, to an annoying degree. The temperature is accurate only if you haven't worn the watch for about a quarter of an hour. The compass is accurate. It has many functions, many alarms, but its menu is not the easiest. 200m waterproof, but one day something was pulling my hairs. I looked at it and saw that one of the 4 screws of the caseback had loosened. Eventually, the "stops" of the plastic case have broken, and the screw doesn't tighten well, unacceptable for a Casio without me having tampered with the watch. Overall, a beautiful little watch, with interesting gimmicks (compass-thermometer), but poor strap quality, construction, and difficult time reading. For 50-60 euros, consider it just for the cool look, but for something 90s that I see now, not at all.

Another small tool watch from the reliable Casio. The watch was purchased exactly a year ago as a gift for my niece, who now wears it for at least 12 hours a day and it is as good as new!! It is used in activities such as skating on roads and ice, swimming, joking, sailing, and even for walks! And even though she is not interested in watches, she loves it because, as she says, it looks really big and sturdy on her wrist at 47 millimeters without being bulky and heavy!! Made with excellent materials and construction quality, always for the 54€ I paid for it through Skroutz from a store in the southern suburbs of Athens, and with a two-year warranty from the dealership. It has excellent turquoise backlighting that illuminates the entire screen as it should, making it easy for everyone to see the time with the large digits. It is waterproof up to 200 meters, suitable for almost all water activities!! The strap is made of soft rubber and if rinsed after being in the sea, it will last for years!! It has all the functions that a watch of this type should have, plus an electronic compass and temperature display!! However, I must emphasize something important about these two functions because comments and things that are not correct are being written!!! What I mean by this is that, like all instruments with sensors that are affected by external factors, except for some very expensive ones, here too, in the use of the compass, it requires proper calibration, not just once. And of course, in order for it to show correctly, it should not be inside a house or apartment building, nor near devices that create magnetic fields such as a phone, television, computer, electric stoves, or stereo systems!!! And the watch should be placed on a flat surface or on the ground!! Now, regarding the temperature, it shows 8 degrees higher on my niece's wrist and she complains a little because, as she says, it shows quite a bit higher, but I explained to her that it needs to be removed from the wrist precisely because it is affected by body temperature!!! Of course, my niece, who is very interested in technology, complains a little because she says that it does show the correct temperature, but it needs to be off the wrist for at least 45 minutes!!! However, like all companies, from Citizen to Tissot, Casio also states in the instruction manual that the watch should be removed from the wrist for some time in order to show correctly!!! So when we have checked it like this and then wear it, we will have the temperature, even if it is an approximation, at least without the difference in degrees that it shows when worn!!! Of course, I have a Tissot watch that has a minimal deviation in degrees on the wrist, but mainly, when it is taken off, it shows the exact temperature of the room or the environment, but it is very expensive compared to this watch, which has been in production for at least 15 years and is officially ranked among the best watches with an electronic compass on international websites!!! Another pleasant surprise is that it comes with instructions in Greek!! With a beautiful aluminum bezel and a battery that will last at least 4 years in normal use, according to my acquaintance who had it, but the battery was replaced at 4.5 years!!! The watch will withstand and only in hard use will make some scratches on the bezel and glass!!! So for the money that you don't buy a corresponding g sock or pro treck, this beast of the Aout gear series is simply amazing, always considering the money that the buyer gives!!!! Update: After ten dives in five months, the excellent thermometer, when my niece takes it off her hand, but always checks it, within twenty minutes it shows the correct temperature of the indoor or outdoor space, with the same applying in water!!!.

I have it for about 4 years. The watch (NOT the strap) withstands wear and tear, diving with a spear gun up to 15 meters, its original battery lasts until today, it is lightweight and comfortable, but it has small dimensions, which makes it look like a children's watch. The serious negatives in my opinion are a) the fact that its screen is not easily distinguishable even during the day. Unacceptable for a watch. In order to see the time, you have to hold it vertically and not have too much lighting (we are not talking about cases when there is sunlight because then you can't see anything), b) its illumination at night is insufficient and has a short duration, and c) its strap (which is not durable and has already broken twice because it polymerizes and starts to disintegrate) is very expensive compared to its price (20 euros), so I gave up on it because I consider it a mockery from the company. Also, the thermometer is completely unreliable when wearing it and the compass malfunctions because it constantly needs adjustment and is relatively unreliable.

Super lightweight, crystal clear, durable, and waterproof as it gets (20 Bar). At night, you can see perfectly as the light illuminates all the digits. The main time is always visible, no matter what mode you are in, so you don't need to switch back from the stopwatch to the main screen, for example.
Calibration is easy based on the understandable instructions provided, even in Greek, in a separate leaflet!
The compass points correctly but you need to hold the watch horizontally, parallel to the ground.
When the room temperature is 26, it shows 31 on the hand with the watch, of course, not being tightly worn but normally worn. For accurate indication, according to the manufacturer's booklet, it should be taken off the hand for about 25 minutes, but in practice, I saw that around 5 minutes are enough. Regarding the actual temperature, it shows about 1 degree higher, but this can be further calibrated. Overall, you can draw a conclusion.
Only time will tell about the battery and strap, which are, however, very lightweight and comfortable.

It's time to write something about the watch. I had bought it much more expensive than the prices that exist now here a decade ago. The strap is quite good, it will take a while to harden and then to be cut. The durability of the glass and the bezel is impeccable. Of course, it has small marks from impacts, but certainly nothing special and always according to the use I made of it. I am not an owner of the G-Shock series to know their excellent resistance according to common agreement, but we must take into consideration if we really need it. The first battery will need to be changed after many years. It is readable with large numbers. Perfect timing. When you go to the chronograph, countdown, etc., the time always appears in a smaller "window" and the backlight is exactly as you want it. Bathing in the sea and diving up to 3-4 meters that I have done, it does not calculate them at all. The compass works quite well. The thermometer needs to be out of the hand for about 15 to 20 minutes to show the correct indication. A watch for everyday use except for occasions when you need something more formal. Finally, it is worn small due to its design. I hope I helped.

Truly one of the best choices for its price! I use it daily and it hasn't shown any wear and tear even though I don't take special care of it. Besides the normal uses (time, alarm, etc.), I also use it as a stopwatch at the gym and as a backup bottom timer for diving. As a stopwatch at the gym, consider that I do an average of 7 exercises with 4 sets each. So we're talking about approximately 25-35 timing sessions per week. You understand the kind of usage I'm referring to regarding this feature. As for diving, it has accompanied me on over 40 dives ranging from 20-40 meters without any issues of humidity or functionality. It's an affordable and reliable watch that won't let you down.

To conclude, I should mention that its compass is "relatively" good but doesn't always show accuracy. However, in case of an emergency, you can have a general idea of the cardinal points without relying solely on its indications. As for the thermometer, it's generally useless. As long as you wear the watch, it will never show the correct temperature. If you want something like that, you'll have to take it off your wrist and measure at least 15-20 minutes later, if not 30+. Even in this case, though, calculate a margin of 1-2 degrees+/- (most of the time +).

I bought the watch in early March 2020. I bought it because I like tough watches, and this one seemed to be. Up close, when I did the unboxing, it looks better and even tougher compared to the photos. Comfortable, lightweight, "tough", with swimming/diving capabilities, nice night illumination, and many functions such as compass and temperature, even though these last two are not the most accurate - it doesn't bother me.

As for some details:
• I like that the digits on the screen of the watch are relatively large and readable, and I don't need glasses to see them.
• I like that among the various functions, e.g. stopwatch, timer, etc., besides the specific function (timing, countdown, etc.), it also shows the time at the top of the screen, so you don't need to press the button a few times to go to the main screen (the time). You can see it on the spot. A small drawback is that in the other functions, the time is displayed with small numbers, as the large ones show the values of the selected function (timing, countdown), so someone with presbyopia won't be able to see it without glasses.
• Two details, if we can call them negative, because they don't really bother, are that:
a. if you look at the LCD screen from a low angle, you can't see the time, but you see 88:88, at an angle of view, all the "lines" of the screen are visible. But as I said, this is not a significant drawback, because how hard is it to slightly tilt your hand and see the time clearly from a different angle?
b. the stopwatch goes up to one hour, and then starts from the beginning. I would prefer it to continue normally, and 2 and 3 hours, etc., but it's not a big deal, you can still record the time.

From my experience, the only expected wear is the strap, which, although nice and matching to the watch, being plastic, it deteriorates and breaks after a while, losing its elasticity. With this type of straps, it usually breaks in about 2 years - of course, if someone works outside in the sun and the solar radiation affects the watch more, the strap may break much sooner, e.g. in about six months - it depends on the conditions. But in any case, the breaking of the plastic strap is an expected and unavoidable wear.

It has been a full quarter since I have had the watch, and I am fully satisfied. So far, so good. Now that summer is coming, it will be tested in swimming and diving. I will come back over time, as most watches are judged over time, to see if they are good and durable.

[edit 11.06.2020] It is a watch that I enjoy. And for mountain, trekking, due to the compass, temperature, and for the sea due to its 200m water resistance. A watch for both the mountains and the sea. A true outdoor gear. I have tested it in the shower, as well as in the sea, where besides swimming, I also dive up to 5 meters deep. It is OK. I note that sometimes, in certain watches, taking a shower can be more dangerous than simple swimming in the sea. Why? Because in the shower, the pressure may be much lower, but the hot water, along with the chemicals from shampoos, shower gels, and soaps, can relax some of the seals of otherwise waterproof watches and let water in, while in the sea with simple swimming, they may withstand it, as although the pressure is higher than that of the shower, the temperature of the water is always cool, and salt, from my experience, I don't think it does as much damage over time as the chemicals do in the shower
