The Proxxon hand screwdriver is insulated and intended for work on live circuits up to 1000 V AC. It complies with VDE standards, and each item is individually safety-tested.

The rounded, two-component FLEX-DOT handle has an oil- and acid-resistant coating, a hanging hole, and a shape that supports the thumb and provides a secure grip. The blade, made from a special chrome-molybdenum alloy, has a matte chrome-plated finish, a laser-engraved marking, and a specially shaped tip for greater precision and reduced risk of slipping. Its special design allows the blade to rotate.
