The HMS 17-34-016 elastic exercise band is used in training and physiotherapy to strengthen muscles and improve mobility and flexibility. It can be applied to a joint or muscle and used while performing active or passive movements. It helps increase blood flow to the area where it is applied and reduce swelling.

The band can also be used for training with restricted blood flow to the working muscle. To apply it, wrap it around the desired area at approximately 70% tension and remove it after about 1.5–2 minutes.
