The Helios WLS-2127 high-pressure sodium lamp has a luminous flux of 15,000 lm and a luminous efficacy of 100 lm/W. Its luminous flux is approximately 18% higher and its service life approximately 15% longer than those of standard sodium lamps.

It operates in any position and restrikes in approximately 1 minute. Use only in luminaires equipped for high-pressure sodium lamps, with a 3.5–4.5 kV ignitor and a magnetic or electronic ballast. It is not a replacement for mercury lamps.
