Full gray NDx4 filter, neutral for 55mm from MASSA. The NDx4 gray filter reduces the amount of light by 4 times, by 75% (2 stops of aperture). The filter is fully neutral, does not change colors, and does not discolor the image. Ideal for color and black-and-white photography.

The purpose of full gray filters is to reduce the amount of light reaching the lens, preventing excessive exposure of photographs and extending the exposure time, allowing for greater depth of field. It is often used for long exposure photos that emphasize motion.

The ND filter prevents the overexposure of such photos and is particularly useful when the camera does not have very high aperture values. Thanks to this, it is possible to take photos that capture the movement of clouds or water in a frothy form.
