All objects reflect environmental light. Glossy surfaces cause strong and targeted reflections, while matte surfaces reflect poorly and diffusely. This light causes the correct shades of objects to overlap, resulting in a milky cover.
This cover is mostly "polarized" – especially in the side sunlight, which creates a beautiful light and shadow effect. The polarized reflectivity can be very simply prevented: by attaching the PRAKTICA filter to the lens and adjusting the ideal polarizer position, the filter blocks the polarized light, so that the shades in the photos come back to life.
In the case of mirror cameras, the ideal position of the filter is visible from the viewfinder, while in other cameras, the filter is simply adjusted by holding it in front of the eye and placing it on the lens in the corresponding position.
Additionally, the polarizing filter wheel can be used so that the reflections formed on the side of the light are weakened or enhanced when they fall on glossy glass surfaces, made of plastic, painted, or water surfaces. Thanks to the use of the polarizing filter wheel, the shades in the photos come back to life.
