All objects reflect environmental light. Glossy surfaces cause strong and targeted reflection, while matte surfaces reflect poorly and scattered. This light causes the correct color overlay on objects, creating a white film. This overlay is in most cases "polarized," especially in front of the sun, with the most beautiful light and shadow effect. We can prevent it in a simple way: by placing the PRAKTICA filter in a fixed position and adjusting it to optimal polarization, it blocks polarized light, so that the colors in the photos come to life again. In cameras with a mirror, the optimal position of the filter can be seen through the viewfinder. In other cameras, the filter is simply adjusted to be placed in front of the eye and attached to the lens in the corresponding position. Additionally, the filter can be used so that reflections formed by side light on glossy surfaces, whether plastic, painted, or water mirror, are enhanced or weakened. Thanks to the use of the polarizing wheel filter, the colors in the photos will be vibrant again.
