The ring allows the installation of a Cokin P-type holder for lenses and sleeves with a 82 mm thread. The suitable adapter enables the use of the Cokin system on lenses with a diameter from 49mm to 86mm.

This means that by changing the lens, it is sufficient to install the appropriate step-down ring so that all filters can be used on one lens. A very effective and economical solution, as it eliminates the need to purchase filters of different sizes for each lens.
