The MKG low voltage gas capacitor with temperature sensor is a state-of-the-art three-phase capacitor with a cylindrical casing. It is equipped with dual overpressure protection that disconnects the electrical connection at the end of its lifespan, thus preventing rupture. The insulation of the capacitor is nitrogen (N2).

The capacitor features a temperature sensor with a normally closed switch (NC), which opens at a temperature of +60 degrees C, providing additional protection in case of excessive increases in ambient temperature.

The key components of the capacitor include dual metallized polypropylene film rolls (aluminum and zinc), ensuring self-healing properties of the dielectric, very low active power losses, and a long lifespan, which can reach up to 120,000 hours. In case the casing has a leak, the capacitor can continue to operate for up to 15,000 hours.
