The MKG three-phase capacitors are state-of-the-art units with a cylindrical housing. They are equipped with double overpressure protection that interrupts the electrical connection at the end of the capacitor's life, preventing any risk of rupture.

The insulation in MKG type capacitors is nitrogen (N2). These capacitors feature a temperature sensor with a normally closed switch (NC) that opens at a temperature of +60 degrees C. The sensor provides additional protection for the capacitor and the capacitor bank in case of excessive ambient temperature rise.

Key elements of the capacitor include rolls of double-coated polypropylene film (aluminum and zinc), ensuring self-healing properties of the dielectric. This technology contributes to very low active power losses and a long lifespan, which can reach up to 120,000 hours. In the event of casing leakage, the capacitor can continue to operate for up to 15,000 hours.
