The Axagon CRE-DAC card reader connects via USB-C or USB-A and supports SD and microSD cards, with simultaneous access to both slots and direct file copying between them. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface enables transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s, and USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 connections are also supported. The metal casing has a textured surface that resists fingerprints, while the caps protect the connectors during transport.

The card reader supports SDXC and microSDXC cards with capacities of up to 2 TB, as well as the UHS-I standard with speeds of up to 104 MB/s. It can connect to computers, mobile phones, and tablets with USB-C, while connection to a device with microUSB is possible via an OTG adapter. It is powered through the USB port, and the indicator light shows when it is connected to a computer.
