The AXAGON PCES-SJ2 PCIe card adds two internal SATA III ports to a desktop computer, with transfer speeds of up to 6 Gb/s. It is based on the JMicron JMB582 chipset and supports Hot-Plug, NCQ, TRIM and Port Multiplier. Installation is Plug and Play and usually does not require additional drivers.

It connects to a PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot and is compatible with PCIe versions 1.0a, 1.1, 2.0, 2.1 and 3.0. It supports booting the computer from a connected drive, in conjunction with the motherboard’s BIOS/UEFI. The package includes a low-profile bracket for installation in a compatible computer case.
