Can be used for any running water The Smart CLARIS filter works according to the principle of professional upward flow and always filters exactly the amount of water required for coffee preparation. Thanks to the innovative formula, the filter cartridges can be used worldwide for any tap water. Properly adjusted granules ensure effective filtration of calcium in the optimal amount (even in the case of low water hardness) and reduction of all harmful substances. However, minerals and fluoride compounds, which act as important flavor carriers, are fully retained. Thanks to the optimal always stabilization of calcium content and effective filtration of harmful substances, the result is optimal water quality, guaranteeing excellent coffee aroma. Automatic filter recognition To allow free communication between the filter and the coffee machine, JURA used RFID technology. Every JURA automatic coffee machine equipped with the Intelligent Water System (I.W.S.®) automatically recognizes when the filter is inserted into the water tank and immediately starts the rinsing process. When the filter's capacity is exhausted, the machine informs the user with a "Replace filter" notification. If the filter is not replaced despite the message, the machine automatically activates the descaling function. After some time, the coffee machine will display the "Descale" notification, informing the user that the device needs to be descaled.
