History & Morphology: The wild rose (Rosa canina), known as rosehip, is a deciduous shrub that grows in many regions of Europe, Asia, and North Africa. It is rich in vitamin C, supporting the immune system.

Properties:

  • Rich in vitamin C: Contributes to strengthening the immune system and reducing fatigue.
  • Stimulant: Helps with overall well-being and energy levels.
  • Diuretic: Aids in urination and the elimination of toxins from the body.
  • Liver support: Assists in managing issues such as gallstones.

Usage: 1 tablespoon of crushed wild rosehip fruit is added to 1 glass of water. Bring the mixture to a boil for 5–10 minutes and strain before use.

Origin: Greece, Imathia Prefecture (collected from Mount Pieria).

Storage: In a dark and cool place (5°C – 15°C).
