Nickel-iron alloy electrode designed for welding common varieties of cast iron such as gray, ductile, and malleable cast iron. It is useful for the regeneration and repair of cast iron components, as well as for joining them with steel. Suitable for use on cold or slightly preheated cast iron. The weld metal is tougher and more resistant to contamination than that obtained from nickel electrodes.
