I was influenced by the good reviews I read but unfortunately I was deceived. This particular guard does not stand on the bed with stability, the straps it has are not suitable for a king-size bed and the fabric has a mesh which means it has no stability and if the child falls, in the best case they will sink into the gap and in the worst case the guard will come off and the child will fall down. To make sure it is stable, I place a large nightstand for resistance to hold it in place.
P.S.: Even if the strap was suitable for a king-size bed, it still wouldn't be stable.

It is very good! My daughter holds onto it and stands up! It is sturdy but you definitely need to put the straps around the bed slats. DEFINITELY, otherwise it cannot be held only by the mattress.

It secures well. It also has a strap to tie it to a bed. Good for tall mattresses and beds without a frame. For its price, I would expect something more practical for closing for transport (you have to untie it completely like other much cheaper ones)

Excellent for thick mattresses. It is supposed to be nailed to the bed, but with a little imagination, it holds well even without being nailed.

Very good construction! Durable! We chose them because they were the tallest! Our mattress is 33 centimeters and we needed something tall to be safe. Our child is very lively and walks around the bed until they fall asleep... they hold onto the rails and go back and forth!! Easy installation! But for more safety, it is implied to tie them to the bed, otherwise they will come off if your child is lively and pushes them! I will buy them again for our vacation home!

After 3 days, the right arm does not fasten, resulting in it no longer being safe for the child.. I wasted my money once again.. I would not recommend it
