  • Speeds

    Select based on the number of cogs on your bike's rear cassette. Chains become narrower as the number of speeds increases, so an 11-speed chain is not compatible with a 9-speed system and vice versa.

    The number of links indicating the total length of the chain. Most chains are available in standard lengths (e.g. 114 or 116 links) and usually require the removal of some links with a special tool (chain tool), so that the chain reaches the exact length needed for your bicycle.

The XX1 Eagle™ 12-speed chain is one of the quietest, strongest, and most durable chains against wear. It features the following characteristics:

  • Recommended Groups: XX1 Eagle™, X01 Eagle™
  • Color: Copper

The PowerLock® technology provides stability and does not require special tools for installation. It is recommended for use with 10, 11, and 12-speed setups. The X-Sync™ 1x chainring teeth offer the highest level of performance and durability. The steep and narrow tooth profile, along with their rounded edges, helps manage a worn chain.

For optimal performance in muddy conditions, X-Sync™ chainring teeth have mud-cleaning notches for the inner chain links and rollers. The extremely thin inner plates of the chain generate much less friction, improving performance and chain lifespan. Finally, the Hard Chrome™ chain has four times greater resistance to wear compared to other chains, thanks to the new finishing process on the inner links and rollers.
