"Appointment at the Cell" is a book about Greek rock and pop, first published in 1996, writing its own history in the field of music publications.
Disappeared from the markets for the last 20 years, it quickly evolved into a collector’s item, making the need for a reissue imperative – especially since the new edition features a new cover and almost double the pages of the original!
The book documents the Greek pop & rock discography, from its beginnings in the mid-60s to the early years of the 80s – that is, major (LP) and minor records (45s) recorded by Greek musicians and bands (sometimes even by foreigners who were part of our scenes) here and abroad (because Greek rock transcends our geographical boundaries).
And they are not just documented, but also evaluated, with the recording taking unpredictable dimensions, as it addresses not only the "well-known" and "established" artists but also the completely "unknown" and "overshadowed" names (of artists and bands).
