    The positives: Very helpful for getting the child to start standing and walking! It secures the child in one area so they don’t run all around the house. Its hollow plastic parts help prevent the child from getting hurt when falling against it. I have also placed a thick carpet on the floor so the child is not discouraged by any fall!

    The negatives: The fence is not stable. If you don’t set it up against sturdy furniture (e.g., sofa or table) on all four sides, it moves and the child may fall and possibly get hurt on the floor if there is no carpet underneath. Besides that, you lose the advantage of support. The plastic screw-caps unscrew easily when the child holds onto and shakes the fence, posing a choking hazard! It needs regular checking (at least 3-4 times a day, if you have a calm child). If your child knows how to unscrew things, then you’d better forget it! Personally, I have not placed the toy cars on the panel because the child can easily detach them and, as they connect with a rod, I consider them dangerous (the child could get poked by the rod when falling or even hurt their eye!). Other than that, I personally think it’s a purchase worth its money in terms of its effect on the child’s motor development!
